LTE3301 remote SMS management

Hi all,
I have a system that must send and receive SMS automatically. In the LTE3301 I find no hint about a protocol that could allow a device, connected to the modem through and Ethernet port, to get the number of SMS received, import them, or send a new SMS.
I know there is a web interface where a human user can interact with the SMS management, but it would be very impractical to have a device connect to the management interface and pretend to be a human.
Is there a predefined protocol, like other manufacturers offer for similar products?

Hi, are you able to manually send receive the SMS?
I've just updated to the last firmware but also from GUI I can't manage SMS.
