PLEX on NAS542

Hi all,

A need help with my new NAS542. I want install Plex Server on it but I don´t know how. We follow the instructions about install the MetaRepository but we don´t see the option on the App Center after copy the files. Someone can hep me please?

Hi,

I tried follow this process;

http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/

In this link speak about this model and said that we don´t need créate the folder \\<NAS>\admin\zy-pkgs.
But I copied the files of fw5/ on admin folder but don´t run and I don´t know what I´m doing wrong.

You should copy just the file web_prefix into the admin folder. After an update in the AppCenter you can install the package MetaRepository

Hi,

The problem is that in that link, I can´t foung the web_prefix file. If you try Access to the web_prefix file, this one is not ready for download it.

No. It should be a text file with the link

http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/

But it isn't a simple text file in the meaning that it doesn't have an extension, and it has a Linux line ending. So you can't create it with, for instance, Notepad.

Thanks a lot!!! I have installed the metarepository now!!!!!
But I found now a problem with the install process of the Plex. I´m in this screen and I don´t know the next step. Please help.
