NAS326 after firmware update SSH works HTTP does not, phone APP HTTPS doesn't work either.

I saw many messages about clearing cache, etc. This is not the issue, it looks like HTTPS was disabled after firmware upgrade, SSH is functional with admin/password but HTTPS is being rejected. Phone APP also rejects HTTPS login, can you ssh to the device and enable HTTPS functionality or is there another workaround using SSH or any other method ?

As far as I know, Zyxel NAS doesn't support public key for SSH.

    Hey,

It is possible to make an SSH connection using a public key. You need to have prepared or created your SSH public and private credentials. Connect to your NAS using the root account and password (your admin password) and go to the /root directory. Here you should see the .ssh hidden folder. Go to it, and if it isn't there, you may create an authorized_keys file. Store your public key there.

After that, check the authorized_keys file; it needs to have 600 permissions. Here we are trying to connect to your NAS using a private key. However, I didn't find a way to deactivate password mode authentication.

Be careful. This NAS is out of date, so there are no security updates, and it has a lot of issues. Make sure your SSH connection isn't permitted from WAN, only from your local network.
