@Mijzelf is there a chance to install entware-ng to nsa210? When trying the package from MetaRepository i am getting this error.
Flushing memory buffer
    Starting up
Flushing done
[23:03:13] FATAL: /opt is a directory

    I don't know. Theoretically yes, but I don't have a 210 to test it.

The directory /opt shouldn't be there, and AFAIK it isn't in the initramfs. Maybe it's added by some package? Do you have shell access? What does

    ls -l /

    give?

    Hi,
same  problem here but on a 326. I'm trying to install Entware (to get transmission updated) but /opt directory already exists and contains two folders,
    /sdk/arm-marvell-linux-gnueabihf and /var.

    folder's permissions are
    drwxr-xr-x    4 root     root             0 Jun 13 13:07 opt

    Can you help me?

    Thanks.

hi, thanks fo the quick reply:

    are tou asking for this?

    drwxr-xr-x    3 root     root             0 Jun 12 13:46 sdk
    drwxrwxrwx    3 root     root             0 Jun 13 13:07 var

Yesterday I reinstalled metarepository to fix a package display issue (download list fail error) and myzyxelcould and tweaks pkg got finally updated, but I tried to install entware only this morning, so it seems it created the var dir, which contains a log dire and Entware-ng.log file:

No, I meant the timestamps in the root. The rootdirectory is in ram, the initramfs, and the directories in it have a fixed timestamp on boot. If the /opt directory is newer than others, it's created after boot, probably by some package. In that case you could simply delete or rename it, and re-enable the Entware package. The package will probably be started after Entware on boot (for most packages it's alphabetical), and so it will share the Entware directory, where /opt symlinks to.

    you mean this

    drwxr-xr-x    2 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:29 bin
    drwxr-xr-x    5 root     root             0 Jun 12 13:29 dev
    drwxr-xr-x    2 1013     1000             0 Mar 18 00:03 e-data
    drwxr-xr-x   21 1013     1000             0 Jun 13 12:29 etc
    drwxr-xr-x    5 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:28 firmware
    drwxr-xr-x    7 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:46 home
    drwxrwxrwx    4 root     root             0 Mar  6  2018 i-data
    -rwxr-xr-x    1 1013     1000          5072 Mar 17 23:54 init
    drwxr-xr-x    6 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:29 lib
    lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            11 Mar 18 00:03 linuxrc -> bin/busybox
    drwxr-xr-x    3 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:28 mnt
    drwxr-xr-x    4 root     root             0 Jun 13 13:07 opt
    dr-xr-xr-x  151 root     root             0 Jan  1  1970 proc
    drwxr-xr-x    9 root     root          1024 Mar 18 00:05 ram_bin
    drwxr-xr-x    2 1013     1000             0 Mar 18 00:03 root
    drwxr-xr-x    2 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:29 sbin
    dr-xr-xr-x   12 root     root             0 Jun 12 13:28 sys
    drwxrwxrwx   11 1013     1000             0 Jun 13 13:18 tmp
    drwxr-xr-x    8 1013     1000          1024 Mar 17 23:54 usr
    drwxr-xr-x   14 1013     1000             0 Jun 12 13:29 var

Is seems effectively newer then others... can I safely delete it? I just do not understand why the timestamp of the sdk directory in the opt folder is one day older and it contanis /opt/sdk/arm-marvell-linux-gnueabihf/build/imagemagick-6.9.0-4 and then 4 more emplty directories: coders   filters  magick   wand. What is imagemagick? Nothing I willed to install.

    thanks

Ah, I read elsewhere in this forum that could be part of myzyxelcloud, which I updated yesterday... I need the zyxelcloud service, can I safely delete this imagemagick folder?

You can safely delete it. Imagemagick is a package for image manipulation, and can be used to create thumbnails. Maybe it is installed with Zyxelcloud.

Thanks, I deleted the opt folder and I got Entware installed, I even installed the updated transmission, but something doesn't work propely, probably it's going in conflict with the zypkg one... Any advise is more then welcome, but maybe for another thread...
Anyway, thanks a lot for the help.

You should at least uninstall the zypkg one.
