Upgrade MySQL and ownCloud to current version on NAS540?

Is there anything I can do to encourage Zyxel or someone else to upgrade MySQL and ownCloud to current versions on the NAS540?

Looked for same about a year ago for MySQL (more or less) and gave up after a while.
MySQL (actually moved to MariaDB) is now located on a Raspberry Pi4 (4GB is more than enough for my needs) together with Pi-hole. Works flawlessly and easy updates without any hassle!
So currently my NAS452 is just that: a NAS!
