Poor upload performance with Armor G1

I have an Armor G1 router connected to my Internet Box. When checking speed with speedtest.net directly connected to my Internet router with an ethernet cable, I get around 450 Mbps download and 110 Mbps upload speed. But when doing the same test connected to my Armor G1, the download speed is similar but the upload speed is only around 20Mbps!

Any idea of what's wrong and how I can ensure a decent upload speed?

    Hi @fbesuchet,

     

    We have a firmware release for this symptom.

     

    Please provide following information to me so I can install that for you in your Armor G1:

     

    1-    Remote Desktop Access to a client(AnyDesk/Team Viewer)

    2-    Temporarily admin account and password

    This is interesting as a few weeks ago, you already installed a new firmware when I could not define dynamic DNS on this same router! It was here: https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/10852/armor-g1-dynamic-dns-fqdn-registration-failure#latest

    The release you installed was V1.00(ABSC.4)C0_20210223

    So are you speaking of a newer firmware?

    If yes, I have a second Armor G1 router installed in a different building. So wouldn't it be simpler to send me the detailed procedure you followed to update the firmware and let me do it myself?

    Yes, it's a new firmware which includes fix for the symptom you reported.

    Since local firmware installation is risky operation, unfortunately I can't provide you detailed local firmware installation procedure for your Armor G1.

    Please kindly wait for official firmware release.
