G'day @lbocquet did you try logging into the router with ssh and trying the shutdown command?

Note that both the UI and the CLI methods do NOT POWER off the device.. but does stop the OS.
• you will need to power offthe device manually .
# ssh your-adminuser@<your-zyxel-appliance-on_local_lan>
Password:
Bad terminal type: "xterm-256color". Will assume vt100.

Give that a try . This works for us.

Hi @lbocquet
As warwickt mentioned. The shutdown function is mainly to halt the system to avoid any kind of accident before you pulling out the power cable.

• Sorry for the delay!

It is done in webadmin directly not by a command.

I am not alone: https://community.zyxel.com/en/discussion/7923/usg110-shutdown-restart

Which firmware version is working your device?
My firmware version 4.70(AAPI.0) seems without the symptom.
If symptom still exist, you can connect serial cable to collect more information for this symptom.
You can check if terminal dumps any console log after your confirmed shutdown device message.
