NAS 542 unable to login via admin

As mentioned above im unable to login via admin and default 1234 Password after Resetting the device several times. Neither resetting it to 1 nor 2 beeps has have any effect.
Login attempts via NAS Starter or Web (on different browsers) result in a "Wrong User or Password" failure message.
Accessing the Files in shared directorys is still possible.
So whats wrong here and is there a Workaround for this Problem?

Do you access the file Files in shared directories with default admin and password?
Or you login with original password?0
