NAS520 Apps

Hi Guys
Can someone help me please. I am new to NAS drives and I have have bought a BRAND NEW NAS520. Well its a few years old but It was never opened. I have now fired it up but I can't uplaod any apps but the basic ones are there. I tried to ping ftp2.zyxel.com. and that didnt work because I beleive they don't use this method now. So I'm well and truely stuck. I also can't see it in my windows explorer, so maybe this is a clue. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks

For some reason ZyXEL in her wisdom has decided to remove the NAS520 stuff from their server. Fortunately the pacakges for NAS540/542 are compatible. I have read somewhere that you can download ZYPKG_INFO.tgz and all packages you want from ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/NAS542/zypkgs/5.21, and put them in \\<nas>\admin\zy-pkgs\, which should make them available. If that doesn't work, you can install MetaRepository, and in the webinterface edit unsafe:ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/+ to ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/NAS542/zypkgs/5.21/ .
