    Now i´m on my PC…..

    Sometimes all text dissapeares when writing with my phone…..

    I use a NR7101 but i also own a 7490.

    Just updated it with newest firmware and i can´t see any changes.

    Did a factory reset in web GUI and logged in with admin 1234, then changed password to the same as my NR7101 without any problems.

    Thanks for trying. So, 1.00(ABQY.6)C0? Well, really weird… is that an EU model? Is there a label on the back with username/password (i.e., admin/1234)? Mine is bricked as of now, no way to get in (and no, VMG8825-B50B admin password generator does not work).

    Thanks a lot. Looks like my upgrade went wrong for some reason, switching from branded fw to unbranded, stock fw. Now I have a nice door stopper - too light, actually :-)

    I have seen this post is inactive since long time, but maybe the unlucky user is still reachable.
    Just got a LTE7490-m904 branded from WindTre FWA Italy with the firmware 1.00(ABZK.2)b1_2022051.
    Firmware update is obviously locked, and I feel it's really a waste of equipment.
    I read about your experience, I already debranded a LTE5398-m904 but it was much easier in that case, because it looks like the firmware update was not locked, even if it was as well from WindTre.
    I would like to avoid to end up like you, so I would be very grateful if you could share your experience to possibly understand what went wrong.
    On my side, I was desperately trying to get the root/supervisor password, which I got using the emulator of Maximuz/Bovirus I assume you also used. My serial starts with S21..and the age of my fw suggested me it could work, and actually it did using the Old algorithm supervisor password.
    With this trick I had the possibility to activate all the remote management options and to have access via FTP to the router, downloanding all the data including the coded passwords i will proceed to decode with the DNS method. Now I have everything to proceed to install a new standard firmware but again the risk is to loose all the access to the device.
    May I ask what you did instead to install the new firmware at that time?
