Zyxel NR5101 5G Router
My device has stopped detecting the SIM, please advise a way to resolve this.
Its not the sim, it works in my phone.
Firmware upgrade has done nothing.
Device reset has not changed the status.
Anything else I can try?

Hi @TemporisCaptial ,
We suspect issue may relate to the thickness of nano SIM card and nano adapter,
is it possible that you add duct tape in the back of the SIM card and adapter to increase the thickness and see if slove the issue?

Thank you for your response.
I can certainly try this however I've since worked out that it only seems to not detect the SIM when trying to use 5G, when I change to 4G the router works (same SIM).

Thank you for providing the crucial info.
Is your sim a 5G sim card? can you check the supported 5G band and
select that specific band on GUI?
by accessing Broadband>Cellular Band>Band Management
disable Band auto selection.
