Unable to upgrade firmware on WX3401-B0
I am trying to update my current device firmware V5.17(ABVE.1)E0 to the latest available version 5.17(ABVE.2.1)C0 but contrary to what I can read in the user manual of the device, I cannot find the Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade menu item in my web UI (I am connecting from the wireless interface). I am concerned that I am not running the latest available firmware version so the router is vulnerable to several CVEs shared in this Zyxel Community. What can I do to be able to upgrade my firmware?

It was designed specifically for a particular ISP to be used by their customers. If you have any further inquiries or concerns, please feel free to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your local Zyxel support for further support. They are pleased to help you.

Thank you but that is a link to the older firmware version that is already on the repeater.
I'm looking for version 5.17(ABVE.2.1)C0 or newer
@Zyxel_Judy I didn't get it from ISP, I bought it retail. Why is it so hard to distribute new firmwares to the public? Many models do have downloadable firmware, why my WX3401 does not? It's a matter of security.
Zyxel's reputation as a close collaborator with ISPs will not be ruined by releasing firmware that fixes security patches. Especially if not purchased from ISP. And for those who purchased from retail it is absurd to have to go down the warranty route, which involves contacting the retailer, for a simple firmware usually released by all manufacturers
Please just release new firmware without restriction.
