Used T-50 device card missing - how can I log in?

Options

The previous resident of my new house has abandoned their VGM8825 T-50 router, but the device card is missing on the back, so there is no device password, MAC, SSD info.

I have tried to access it set set the router up using the default login admin and password 1234 but it says user name or password incorrect.

How can I get a new password for the device, or register the product to my name, or access the device password?

    Hello @SAB

    Welcome to the forum.

I think that you will need to do a factory reset in order to get in, see the user guide at https://download.zyxel.com/VMG8825-T50K/user_guide/VMG8825-T50K_V5.13_5.50.pdf

Press and hold the reset button for more than 5 seconds. Release it when you see the Power LED blinking.

Then the default login details should let you in to set-up the device.

    Kind regards,

    Tony
