[Nebula] How to configure the BandFlex on supported APs?
This FAQ guides you through configuring the BandFlex feature on supported Zyxel access points (APs), allowing them to operate on different frequency bands (5 GHz or 6 GHz) in addition to 2.4GHz to meet specific network requirements.
Configuration Steps:
- Go to Configure > Access point > Radio settings.
- Scroll down to find the AP list table and click on the "BandFlex" option
- A table displaying your supported APs will appear. Locate and select the desired AP to access its specific BandFlex settings.

- Click Update
Note:
- Setting the AP to operate on the 6GHz band enables Wi-Fi 6E capabilities. However, devices that do not support Wi-Fi 6E will only be able to connect to the AP’s 2.4GHz band.
Supported Models:
- At the time of this writing, the models that support BandFlex include NWA220AX-6E and WAX620D-6E.
- For environments requiring simultaneous use of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands within a single AP, we recommend the WAX640S-6E, a Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E AP.
