ARMOR G1 with ONT

Be careful with the Armor G1 (NBG6818) when using it with an ONT. Not only does it have issues with VLAN tagging on WAN as mentioned, but there is currently a critical bug affecting several users (including me) where the local Web GUI becomes completely inaccessible after a reset.

If the router cannot establish a stable handshake with the Zyxel Cloud during the initial 'Easy123' setup (due to the VLAN not being configured yet or server-side issues), it performs a hard redirect to http://192.168.123.1/gui/#/main/easy123SingleSignOn and hangs with a 'Service issues' error.

In this state, you won't even be able to reach the 'Expert Mode' to attempt any manual configuration. The ZAPI interface returns an RPC error 4142, effectively locking you out of the local admin panel until a cloud connection is made. If you are planning to use it with an ONT that requires VLAN 100, you might find yourself stuck at the login screen with no way to enter those credentials.
