Hello, I have a router and I am unable to upgrade it with the latest firmware (V1.00(ABMV.6)C0).
The router is in default state after a complete reset.
The option to update the firmware automatically does not find any.
The option to upload firmware ends with a "no response from server" error.
I currently have the following firmware version: V1.00(ABMV.1)C0
Can you please advise what is wrong?

    Hello @zyxelcz

    Welcome to the forum.

There is some troubleshooting instructions for the NBG6615 at https://support.zyxel.eu/hc/en-us/articles/5367490332050-NBG-Series-Troubleshooting that you might find useful, including how to upgrade the firmware (see extract screenshot below.)

I hope that this is helpful.

    Kind regards,

    Tony

    Hello @tonygibbs16

    Thank you for response.

I tried upgrading the firmware according to the documentation, but it didn't help.
When I try the "Check for Latest Firmware Now" button I end up with the message "No newer firmware!".

When I try the "Upload" button after using the Browse button with the last bin file ( https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/support/download?model=nbg6615 ), I end up with an error "This site can't be reached - check the address etc".

Can you recommend me next steps?

    Kind regards,

    Jan

    Hello @zyxelcz

    Thanks for your reply.

Point e under 5 Firmware Upgrade says that the upgrade could take up to 3 minutes to happen.

So you could get the "this site cannot be reached..." whilst the upgrade is happening.

How long did you wait after clicking on the Upload button please?

If you waited 10 minutes or more, then you could power cycle your device and see if the upgrade was successful or not

    Kind regards Tony

It can be a question of the used browser too , so try another . Or try another device not a mobile.

Or of the rights of data access if it is an android app .

Consider using a different browser as it can also be the cause. Or try a different, non-mobile device.

The issue could also be related to the browser you're using, so it might help to try a different one. Alternatively, testing on a different device, not a mobile one, could also provide insight. Additionally, if it's an Android app, consider checking the data access rights as they might be impacting the functionality.

    Hello @tonygibbs16

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I waited ten minutes or more, but nothing happened.
The strange thing is that the page "this site cannot be reached..." appears immediately after pressing the Upload button.

    Kind regards,

    Hello @tonygibbs16

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I have tried different browsers and different operating systems.
First I tried Windows 10 with Edge, Firefox and Chrome.
Then I tried Windows 8 with IE.
    But always the same result.
I may yet try Win11 with Edge, but I'm skeptical.

    Kind regards,

    Jan

So you work with a downloaded file for local firmware upgrade ?

could you type the exact file name of the firmware from the unpacked zip file with ending *.bin ?
