Slow throughput after vlan assignment by NPS
hello, I have a GS1920 switch and a NW220AX wifi terminal. Without dynamic VLAN assignment. the flow is ok. As soon as we attribute a vlan dynamically we find ourselves with a flow rate of 100 mbps. Impossible to know if it's the hardware or the configuration. Can you help me?

I'm pleased to inform you that the throughput drop issue following dynamic VLAN configuration has been resolved with the latest firmware update (V7.00(ACCO.1)C0) for our NWA220AX-6E model. For more information on this firmware release, please refer to our latest post:

Hi @Ulthane
To better understand your situation, could you please provide the following information?
- Is the 100 Mbps flow rate the throughput between the AP and the WiFi client, or is it the link speed between the AP and the switch?
- Could you try connecting a PC to the switch and running the dynamic VLAN assignment, then check the flow rate?

Good morning,
If I connect a PC to the switch via Ethernet, I easily obtain 600mbps or more. This only happens in WiFi, and only if I set the dynamic VLAN assignment from a Radius server (NPS).I tested a lot of settings on the access points but nothing worked.

- Tech support information from the switch.
- Diagnostic files from the AP.
- Screenshots of the dynamic VLAN assignment configuration on the NPS.

Thanks for providing those files.
Upon reviewing your issue, we determined that this is a known issue with 6E APs (including the NWA220AX-6E). Using dynamic VLANs may cause a throughput drop. We will fix this issue in our next firmware release. Stay tuned to for the latest updates.
