Hi,
Why you don't use some cloud based socket to control power ?
Something like:

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to turn off the modem so as not to have constantly active electromagnetic waves. but if I use this socket to turn off the modem, then the socket itself will emit electromagnetic waves. and I won't have solved the problem.
