NR5101: Connect Zyxel Air with wifi turned off?

I want to connect my Zyxel Air app (on iPhone 15) to my NR5101 router and use the functions in the app regularly, but it seems impossible since I have turned off all wifi on the NR5101 - it is instead wired to a unit in my home mesh system (4 x Deco XE75).

Is it in any way possible to connect my Zyxel Air app to my NR5101 without turning on it’s wifi? (perhaps through the directly connected mesh wifi)

Would you agree that I should keep the wifi on my NR5101 turned off in order to not interfere with the mesh wifi?

Hello @ 2 player games, although the Zyxel Air app primarily relies on Wi-Fi for communication with the router, you may still be able to access some basic functions of the NR5101 by connecting your iPhone to the same local area network (LAN) as the NR5101. This can be achieved by connecting your iPhone to your home mesh system's network (either wired or wireless). While you may not have access to all the app's features, you might be able to perform basic tasks like viewing connected devices or modifying LAN settings.
