I'd just like to add, I think this idea of not allowing regular users to use an e-sim is a pain in the arse, not to mention and insult. Is my money no good?

To make matters worse, I have bought a sim card which I intend to use, but I can't - want to know why?

Because the FWA710 (an most others is seems) only support Micro SIM. I need to put this sim card into a device to activate it. But I don't any any mobile devices with micro sim anymore - they are all nano.

What a crock… pretty sure I'll be returning this item to Amazon

You know, if you look at the WebUI, you'd think e-sim is fully supported… it's there.

Oh, and another thing which drives me nuts, no SMS support from the UI. Seems Zyxel are just too lazy to implement a simple web / AT command page… which i've seen in countless cheaper routers.

Hello, with such equipment, I miss the scheduler reboot feature because the mobile network sometimes locks up and a physical reset is required at a remote location. This issue has been resolved in most models, including Huawei. As someone before me mentioned, the modem lacks SMS functions, both reading and sending, which I consider a significant drawback. Since the menu already includes an ESIM field (is it technically supported?), which does not work. Can we expect this feature, or are we being forced to purchase other equipment? I would appreciate a response from the Zyxel team. Thank you.

eSIM would be a great feature to be able to remotely manage sites that are connected using the FWA710. It is more common than you think that it is necessary to switch to another operator. If the FWA710 is then installed on a remote location where it is difficult for personnel to physically replace the SIM card, managing the solution eSIM would make a great difference!

SIM activation and nano vs micro SIM: Almost all operators can activate the new SIMs automatically without using phone. If they can't, you should probably switch to another operator. ;) Regarding nano to micro adapters, almost all SIM cards come with this anyway so no issue there either (see pic).

But anyway, eSIM would be a great feature that makes it possible to manage all different SIM / Operator options much more efficiently.
