[XGS1930] Full CLI access?

Hello,

I´d like to get full CLI access on my XGS1930 switch with firmware V4.70(ABHS.1) and local management. Currently if I log with my admin credentials I can only e.g. "show running", but I´m not able to change anything, e.g. "configure terminal" is no possible.

I searched the GUI but haven´t found anything usefull. Is it even possible?

    Hi @MichaelB

    XGS1930 is a web-managed switch. It only supports web configuration.
    The CLI only allow you to use the "show" command to check switch statistics and table, like: show running-config, show mac address-table all, show interfaces status, etc...

    Reminder: You may use "show ?" to display all commands which can be use with show.

    Hello,

    I still have a XGS1930 in use. What would you suggest, if I want a new switch with about the same capabilities as the old XGS1930, but WITH full CLI capability?

    Hello,

    Since we have no full CLI on XGS1930, is there some way to speed up setting up "Time Ranges"?
    So far I have to set each port separate which takes a lot of tome if you have to configure multiple ports.

    It says "Management through Telnet" - you should mention that you do not have full CLI management via Telnet!

    Hi @eddeig,

    You can consider using Nebula mode. The Nebula control center allows you to select multiple ports and configure the same PoE schedule.

    Thanks for your input. Please be assured that I will let our switch product team know your input. In addition, the web-managed switches do not support full CLI. They only support monitoring commands.
