I'm a IT professional. I advised Zyxel Wifi to al lot of clients and relatives  because of hassle free management of small organisations and home installations.
Newest thing nowadays is cloud saving mode. (???????)

I'm having second toughts now. I probably will not advice this system anymore.
Zyxel is breaking existing functionality. When i bought this system for several relatives it was included in the free license to troubleshoot direct and very easily. No such thing as cloud saving mode.
Nowadays the system becomes more difficult to troubleshoot. Have to wait too long after disabling cloud saving mode.  I hope Zyxel will evaluate their decision to break basic functionality. At the moment it seems to be a safer bet to invest in Ubiquity. No functionality will taken away from existing customers after their purchase.

    @Yeroon,

    Thanks for using and helping to promote our product :) , due to the growing number of global online devices, therefore to ensure Nebula cloud center can sustain the service quality of the installations, it also can help the customer to save the network usage from devices to Nebula, cloud saving mode (CSM) was implemented.

    You can avoid the organization become CSM by visit the organization within 30 days, besides to upgrade the organization to pro/plus. Hope you can understand.

    What a crock of s..moke and mirrors. And to help save the Customer's bandwidth? Set a reminder to log in every 30 days, like free DynDns? I suppose I can easily script to log in 20 times a day just to be sure. Imagine the embarrassment I faced to pull a report for client, to show them how great and wonderful their new Zyxel box is protecting them, only to learn recording had been disabled. What a crying shame. Thanks for mentioning ubiquiti it's been years since I looked at one because of the poor interface 15 years ago. Rolling the logs versus cutting them off will fix your lack of storage problems and Alibaba can fix your bandwidth costs. Zyxel boxes are not cheap and about to be replaced with pfSense moving forward. Hey, nice to know the $300 subscription option will disable "#Preposterous Zyxel Cloud Savings"

    What a PIA this is. Urgently needed a report for yesterday and it is data collection is expired again. I never wanted Nebula in the first place as I got burned for a fortune in non-billable time for another client spent by choosing Nebula when it was 1/2 baked and not really ready for production as advertised a year or two ago. I was forced to register this device in Nebula portal because it is the "upgraded (SMH) 200H model". 2 YEAR PAID BASIC LICENSE." This is an unethical, unadvertised business practice holding my data collection hostage for a higher fee or be forced to login every 30 days to keep the cripple-ware running. This policy essentially cripples everything we need for accurate, near real-time, up-to-date reporting, and I now have 5 of them. The bulk of my devices are managed in the Zyxel Portal, but for these 5, I have to go somewhere else as the licenses do not show up in Zyxel Portal, only in Nebula Portal. I am impressed with the progress Nebula has made however moving forward I will not choose anything that forces me to register in the Nebula portal and have to bounce back and forth between portals to manage devices. Extremely disappointed now with Zyxel as a company for crippling my paid license and trying to motivate me to pay more to avoid this monthly X5 inconvenience.
