IP Passtrough with German Telekom and Ubiquiti Dream Machine

Hello,

I'm starting to feel at a loss.

I would like to use the LTE5398 as a modem for the Dream Machine. To do this, I activated IP passthrough and deactivated all NAT settings.

So far so good. I can still access the Internet via the Dream Machine.

I would like to play on the go using my Xbox Remote. This requires UPNP, which is also activated on the Dream Machine. When I check upnp in the XBOX settings I get the information that a double NAT is active.

Therefore my question is whether IP Passtrough doesn't work on this or I have a configuration error.

I should get a permanent fiber optic connection shortly. Until then, I'll unfortunately have to rely on LTE - which, fortunately, with around 30 megabits of upload, is also sufficient for remote gaming.

Thanks for you help!!

    Hi,

Just check your router(Dream Machine) WAN IP, it should be public IP (Assuming your service provider not using NAT'ed IP).

You can check your service provider assigned IP by disabling  IP passthrough - check wan IP on zyxel, should be public IP.
