My NWA130BE does a restart several times per day.

It always starts like this:

Netconf connection is connected.

NTP update has succeeded.

Device is rebooted by cold start!

The AP has successfully booted.

Firmware is V7.00(ACIL.3) (Latest)

Maintenance is scheduled for once a week

Any ideas?

    Hi @XForce

After reviewing your AP’s event log, it appears that your AP is experiencing several cold starts event within a day, which may be related to the power supply. Could you please try replacing the power adapter for the NWA130BE? It requires a DC input of 12VDC / 2A.

Additionally, we noticed that your AP is linked up at 100M. To maintain better network performance, please consider changing your Ethernet cable or connecting your AP to a different port on the modem to see if that improves the situation.

    Hi @XForce

To help us understand your situation better, could you please provide some additional information?

    1. Could you describe your network topology, particularly any devices connected above your AP?
    2. Have you recently made any changes to your network configuration, such as adjustments to firewall rules, network settings, or security protocols?
    3. When did this issue start? Was it present from the initial setup, or has it developed recently?
    4. How is your AP powered? Are you using a power adapter or PoE?

Additionally, please enable Zyxel Support access on Nebula CC and provide us your Nebula org and site name, so we can assist with further troubleshooting.

    Hi Kay,

    1. there is a AVM Fritz box acting as vdsl2 modem, the connection is fine.
    2. I did the recent firmware update
    3. Around the time i did the update
    4. It is powered via power adapter 12v/30w

I enabled the Zyxel Support access.

Because this is my only zyxel device I chose just a generic "no" as org and site name, i hope that's not a problem, i can change it to something more unique if that helps.

thank you for your help so far.

    Hi @XForce

We couldn’t locate your organization/site "no/no" in our Zyxel Nebula Support list. Could you please confirm if the Zyxel Support access is enabled successfully on your end?

    Hi Kay,

    thank you for your suggestion.

I swapped the power adapter to an identical one with 12VDC / 2.5A.

    Everything works fine so far.

    Awesome support, thanks again.
