Device not showing
Hi,
I have connected a new computer via network cable directly to mu multy.
It works ok - gets an Ip 10.0.0.147 - but this does not show in the list of connected devices. Not when I connect directly to the Multy via browser - or via the Apple App.
I dont like having devices connected that does not show up in my client overview :)

Hi @Ceefive ,
To better assist you, could you please provide the following information:
- Which Multy model and firmware version are you currently using?
- Have you tried connecting a different laptop to the Multy to see if it appears in the client list?
- Is this issue only happening with your new laptop, or are all devices missing from the Multy's client list?
- Please share a screenshot of your Multy's client list when your new laptop is connected.

Hi @Ceefive ,
This is a known issue, but there is currently no upcoming official firmware update for the Multy M1. However, you can try this temporary solution:
Please open Command Prompt on your laptop, ping the gateway (Multy M1's IP address), and wait for approximately 1 minute. Then check the Multy M1's client list to see if your laptop appears.

So clients connected to the router may not show up in the list.
Big surprise that Zyxel has not scheduled a fix ?
Have made a setup of 3 Multys in Mesh at home and summerhouse - 6 units in total - and i'm conserned if Zyxel was the right choise for that.

Hi @Ceefive ,
The Multy M1 model is reaching its End of Life (EOL) status. This means that development for this model will cease, and no further official firmware updates will be released.

Have had Wifi routers from Linksys, Nokia, Asus - and because of change of serviceprovider I desided to go for Zyxel Multy in a wifi6 setup. And Yes I purchased 6 units for my 2 sites at a good price.
Seems to be a big mistake. I'm dissapointed if it is true Zyxel will not provide fixes to problems.

Hi @Ceefive ,
We regret that you obtained these devices as they are approaching their End of Life (EOL) status.
For optimal performance, features, and support, we recommend exploring our current product line. In your case, we suggest the USG Lite 60AX as your WiFi router, combined with the WiFi 6 Access Point to complete your mesh network.
