ZYXEL NR7101 router password

Hi

We've been occasionally using ZYXEL NR7101 router. We needed to use it again last week but there's no internet connection and the internal settings are also not accessible because the login page prompts "incorrect user name/password". Tried factory resetting via the button on the unit, no success. It still does not accept the user name/password on the label. How can this be fixed?

    Are you absolutely sure you entered exactly as it says?

    I and 1 as well as 0 and O?

    admin must be written in lowercase letters.

    Yes, I'm absolutely certain. The password on the label doesn't include any letters, which could be mixed up.

    Did you push @least 10 seconds on the factory reset button?

    Yes, tried resetting several times, also held it off power for 5+ min. Did these procedures in different variations several times.

    Maybe you need to do a diagnostic as in picture. When ready, power off your modem for @least 2 minutes.

    Restart also computer.

    Log in with 192.168.2.1

    No luck, still doesn't accept the user name/password. When the sim is inserted and router connected to the computer via LAN cable, then it provides internet. It seems it doesn't create a wifi network though and right now it's impossible to access the web based interface. Thanks!

    Wifi network?

    Internal wifi is only to adjust antenna, no internet ....

    Is there any QR to connect to your Zyxel Air app?

    B.T.W, my login to web gui in computer is (admin 1234), i suppose you have other login....

    Log in to internal wifi in your NR7101 is something else...

    You need to be close to your unit if you use inbuilt wifi because it only cover a small area.

    The background is that the guy who used it left our company so I'm not 100% familiar with this device. But before he left, he said that last time he had trouble logging into the web UI, resetting etc. Right now I'm having the same problems. We need to configure it internally for our use, that's why it's so important.

    Yes, the password is different on the label. Will try with the Zyxel application.
