I have disabled WPS for both 2.4 and 5G but the light stays on - should this not grey out? The light is very annoying and I never use WPS. Any help appreciated.

In the router settings is there a Network Settings>Wireless>WPS section?

Can you see an enable WPS setting that you can disable there?

Otherwise i think you also need to turn off wifi!

    Thanks for your reply.

It is set to off and on both channels (I found you had to select each channel individually in the General tab and go turn WPS off).

It does say in Note 2 there that "The WPS button will gray out when wireless LAN or WPS is disabled", OR being the key word. But maybe as you say, wireless needs to be turned off too which is not practical for me. Such a shame you can't control a simple light!

I came here for the same problem. Even with the latest firmware this is still a problem. Impossible to turn off the strong, green light. Does not exactly blend in at our mountain cabin from 1966., I'll have to put some tape over it. Ridiculous.
