How do I download a folder of files/multiple files at once on my NAS? (542)

    Turns out SMB1 is not enabled on Windows 10 by default. I enabled that and now my NAS folders are accessible under the network tab in explorer.

    It's good that you got it working, but you shouldn't need SMB1 for that. That is only necessary for the NSA boxes. The NAS boxes support SMB2.

    That's strange because I followed a Youtube tutorial for a Zyxel NAS (could have been for an older model?) and it started working the moment I had enabled SMB1.

    What I wonder though is if there is a way that you could transfer files to the NAS from Explorer? Right now I can only Transfer files from the NAS to the PC…I recall that this was the case even when I was on a Mac.

    It should just work. When you open a share in Explorer, it should work like a local drive. (Well, a bit slower, of course).

    Maybe you configured the shares to be readonly over samba? That can be configured in the users&shares menu.

    First time I tried I could transfer from but not to in this way. I tried again now and it works both ways 👍️
