I have zero clients showing with 802.11r capabilities…. This is with both NWA130be's and NWA50ax Pro. I tried toggling 802.11r to no avail….

    Hi @jpblanch75 ,

Could you clarify where you're checking for 802.11r capabilities in zero clients? Are you looking at:

    • The client list
    • Wireless packet data
    • Another location

    Additionally, please let us know:

    1. Are you using your NWA130be's and NWA50ax Pro in Standalone or Nebula mode?
    2. What firmware version are you running on these devices?

I'm using Nebula, latest firmware and the client list.

What made me look was while walking between access points my phone would switch to cellular then back to Wi-Fi instead of I'm jumping APs. Using WPA2 it works fine and shows 802.11r in the client list.

    Hi @jpblanch75 ,

What conditions are preventing you from seeing 802.11r capabilities in zero clients? Are you using any security methods other than WPA2?

I told you above in the first post and title combination. Am I not being clear? When using WPA3 security, none of my 802.11r capable devices show that capability in the client list.

Hi, I think I can confirm this problem too. There were zero statistics about clients unless I changed one device to a WPA2 SSID

    Hi users,

Thank you for sharing the symptoms you observed.

After investigation, we confirm this is part of the current specifications - 802.11r is not available when using WPA3. We'll add this feature to our evaluation list for future consideration.
To keep users informed, we will add a note in the Nebula GUI soon to indicate that 802.11r is not available when using WPA3.
