Access Management website on FWA710
Hi,
If i direct connect the FWA710 using ethernet to my computer, i am able to access the management website using its IP 192.168.1.1.
If i were to plug in to a WAN port of a USG firewall, i am not able to access when i am in the LAN side. Is there anyway to access using ethernet when i am in the LAN side when FWA710 is connected to the WAN port of the firewall?

Hi @phayze ,
When connecting the FWA710 to a USG FLEX firewall's WAN port, the FWA710 typically operates in IP passthrough mode, which means its original IP address is passed through to the USG FLEX firewall. To access your FWA710's local GUI, you can try either of these two methods:
Method 1: Use FWA710 IP + 1, example FWA710’s IP address is 10.114.220.177, so we’ll use 10.114.220.178 to access FWA710. You can check the FWA710’s IP by yourself or via Nebula/ local GUI if can access.
Method 2: Use LAN network Default group’s IP. Note that, please configure the FWA710's LAN (interface group: Default) to another subnet (not 192.168.1.1), e.g. 192.168.10.1.

Hi July,
Method one works but not method 2. As i have more than one active WAN, do i need to do any static route?

Hi @phayze ,
Could you please provide more details about the typology and symptoms/ screenshot you encountered when using Method 2 to log into the FWA710 local GUI? The more detailed information you can share, the better we'll be able to assist you.

I have 3 wan connect to Flex 700H. WAN1 is FWA710 while the rest of the WAN is connected to fiber.
When my PC is connected directly to FWA710, i am able to access the management web using either methods. But when FWA710 is connected to Flex 700H WAN1 and my PC is connect to Flex 700H LAN, I am only able to access FWA710 using method 1. Pinging the IP using method 1 will have respond while method 2 will have timeout.

Hi @phayze ,
Please verify that no other interface is using the same subnet as your FWA710's LAN IP configuration. If there is a subnet conflict, you'll need to change the conflicting interface's subnet.
We've confirmed that we can successfully access the FWA710 using both login methods on our end.

All IP subnet is different. You test using only one WAN or more than one WAN?
Do i need to set my PC to same subnet as FWA710 management IP?0
