In addition, you need to check the wireless distance and signal strength of the NWA55AXE, since it uses wireless uplink.

The AP keeps going off line and back online again. It is situated very close to an indoors (through the window) nwa110ax.
I honestly don’t see the point in having this AP because it is so intermittent and anyway it has no Ethernet downlink capability

Thanks for the update. The offline event means the AP disconnects with Nebula. Can you help access it to collect the diagnostic file so we can help check it?
Additionally, to let the Ethernet downlink work in the smart mesh mode, you need to enable the "Wireless bridge" function.

I have brought from it all outside into the same room with me because outside the connection was so bad I could never make a connection long enough to collect the debug data.
I attach the debug file for you. I had to put a .zip extension on it otherwise its not allowed by zyxel ????????
