Hi, i bought this product but I cannot connect it to a ip camera with fixed ip 192.168.1.200, Ican connect pc smartphone etc. but cannot connect this device that works perfectly on a strong sim router 4g with no configuration needed.

the strange thing is that whne i connect the pc with auto ip, iit gives the pc the ip of the WAN network. if I do ipconfig on the pc I get the same ip of the wan. sim outgoing ip, if I connect the camera i cannot see it via the ARP table, it does not connect to the 4g router even if I deactivate the DHCP same result no connection, can you help, I have the latest firmware

    Hi, I solved the first issue disabling the IPpass through, now the Zyxel is in router mode

    now the strange thing is that when i connect the PC to the router the pc gets an ip 192.168.2.xxx

    even if DHCP on the Zyxel is in the range 192.168.1.xxx and the default gateway that should be 192.168.1.1 on the pc with ip config appears to be 192.168.2.1, if use static ip address on the pc 192.168.1.200 and gateway 192.168.1.1 the network cannot be identified.

    Why if the DHCP on the zyxel is set in the range 192.168.1.xxx the pc gets an address in the range 192.168.2.xxx? why with static ip it does not work?

    Making few more tests

    so when i connect via wifi i get

    from ip config

    192.168.1.xxx
    gateway 192.168.1.1

    THAT IS RIGHT


    if i connect via ethernet cable i get

    192.168.2.xxx
    gateway 192.168.2.1

    this is too strange to me

    if i try static ip address from the pc i cannot connect to the router

    So WHY the DHCP works well assigning ip addresses from the pool set via wifi, and when connecting with Ethernet cable it gives me ip ouside the pool?

    anyone can help?

    I already tried what you say, but please try to read carefully what is my problem, and why lan and wifi assign two pool addresses one outside dhcp pool this is strange, and I think should not be possible

    I tried with another ip camera, the ip address assigned by this router is in the range 192.168.2.xxx, but if connected to wifi the address is in the range 192.168.1.xxx can anyone explain this?

    the dchp is set to give addresses only in the range 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.254.

    I'm having the same problem. Default gateway always defaults to 192.168.2.1 no matter what i do. How can i change this?

    Yes zyxel support via teamviewer solved the problem, but they get it it so fast and quickly that I cannot help you, I had to reset the router later and now i'm in the same situation, so tired of this router hard configuration without any clear manual to get it done
