NWA130BE - Mesh / Traffic
I just installed two NWA130BE in my home. So far, I am not massively impressed but I'll give it time to figure out.
One question I have is why does a 'client' show connected to both wireless devices as per the screenshot.
Is this expected or additional routing for no reason?
Keeping in mind, my main floor is plugged into my router's switch and my Upst is also plugged into my routers switch. Both these APs are ethernet back-hauled back to the main router and no mesh is needed.

Hi @lcohen999,
So, your topology is like below?
This could be because the router forwards the LLDP packets causes two APs to learn multiple LLDP info on the uplink port. And causes topology problem.

Yes, that is correct.
I am using a Mikrotik router but there is no additional routing which would cause this to happen.
Further to this, I only see this behaviour on devices which connect to MAIN FLOOR. They are route to UPST but anything directly connected to UPST does not. It seems like there is some sort of smart mesh rule going on

Hi @lcohen999,
Thanks for your update. To have further checking, could you enable Zyxel support access?

I have done that. Thank you

Hi @lcohen999,
Thanks for the privilege. After checking AP Main floor, I found it learns AP Upst's LLDP and your router's LLDP.
This could be because the router forward AP Upst's LLDP. Since this behavior, Nebula will draw the topology like this:
Not sure if the Mikrotik router can change the behavior, if so, this issue can be solved.
