GS1920-24 cant boot up, cant restore to factory

Hi, i have a GS1920-24 which start blink sys led when i powered it, during start up all port led is up in red and green then off. After about 1 minute sys led turn off, and nothing work. i tried press and hold reset button at side but nothing happend.

I will DM the console port position and the type of console cable to you. Then you can factory default this switch.

Hi,
I have exactly the same issue with my GS1920-24. After a reset and leaving it powered on overnight, it still won’t boot up or become reachable.

I would appreciate any help or advice.

Hi @mkndroid,

This could be firmware issue or hardware issue. Please check if your switch has a 4-pin console port in the left of your switch. If it has it, please referece this FAQ to connect the 4-pin console.

If firmware recovery does not help, this could be a hardware issue. Please reference this FAQ to submit a RMA request.

In addition, if you didn't find the 4-pin console port, this means your switch is older version of GS1920, which is end-of-life for a long time before. Please consider to purchase a new GS1920-24.
