Hello everyone,

I recently switched my access point to repeater mode in the settings to test it and better understand how it works. I'm accessing the web interface via a LAN connection through my Zyxel switch.

Since making the change, I can no longer access the access point’s web interface. The device also no longer shows up with an IP address on the network. I suspect I misconfigured something during the setup.
Now, I’d like to reset the hardware to its factory settings — but I’m not sure how to do that.

Does anyone know how to perform a reset on this access point?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

/Richard

    Hi @Montland,

How to perform a hardware factory reset:

    1. Make sure the AP is powered on and the Power LED is steady.
    2. Find the RESET button (usually on the back or bottom of the device). image.png
    3. Use a paperclip or similar tool to press and hold the RESET button for more than 5 seconds, until the Power LED starts blinking.
    4. Release the button and wait a few minutes for the AP to reboot.

Once completed, the access point will return to default settings. You should then be able to access its web GUI using the default IP and set it up again.
