Zyxel LTE7490-M904 doesn't recognise SIM cards

Hi,

I've just bought Zyxel LTE7490-M904 device, but it doesn't recognise any SIM card I tried placing in - two different operators from Bosnia, UK EE, Telekom from Serbia. I saw some other posts on "special" firmware that makes various SIM cards detectible. Anyone knows anything about this issue?

    Hi bolex011,

    My First impression when there's a SIM card detection problem is more probably caused by hardware instead of software. Do you use SIM card adapter, either a frame outside a nano-SIM? If so, could you please check if the surface is flat and even? If the problem still exists, please use another type of SIM card adapter that has a cover underneath the nano-SIM.

    To be on the safe side, please also check if you read the module SW version on Cellular WAN Status page. You may take a full screenshot of this page.
