Nebula registration requirements for USG Flex 100HP firewall

Hello,

We are deploying over 500 units of the USG FLEX 100HP firewall. We were only able to register them successfully after upgrading the firmware locally. However, the devices register soon after boot, without requiring acceptance of the license agreement.

What are the mandatory requirements to register these firewalls to Nebula? Is firmware the only requirement? Is it possible for a 100HP unit to be shipped with the latest firmware that supports Nebula?

    Thank you for providing the serial numbers!

    Please kindly double confirm whether the device had been registered on Nebula before powering it on. If it was pre-registered, then the section in the FAQ regarding requiring acceptance of the license agreement, as well as the subsequent steps, will be skipped—this is the expected behavior.

    Currently, all factory-shipped USG FLEX H units require a firmware upgrade after unboxing before they can connect to Nebula, so applying the firmware update is a necessary step. In your case, you may pre-register the device to the desired org/site. After the device is shipped to the site, during the initial setup, please select the left-side option "Nebula management" in the GUI. This will facilitate automatic firmware update and connection.
