NSA 325 v2 and NFS

    I didn't know how to ping...but searching net I found your post!

    So I followed this path, copied "zyxel.disktation.eu" and I get the message that "unable to ping host"
    This happens also with all other hosts that there are in the list...
    So?

    If you can't ping the server, you also can't download any packages from it. (Well, that is not completely true, some servers can't be pinged, but only be accessed in other ways. Yet zyxel.diskstation.eu is pingable)
    If you can't ping it, in most cases that is a wrongly configured dns or gateway. In most cases both should be the IP address of your router. If it still doesn't work, change dns to 8.8.8.8 (google dns)

    Mijzelf my friend I'm very close now, thank you!
    I changed dns to 8.8.8.8 as provided and I was able to ping the server. Also I managed to install Meta repository!
    Now it's the final step... How do I add the NFS package list, in order to enable it?

    MetaRepository has a webinterface, as shown in this post, here you exchange the, now dead, ZyXEL url ftp://ftp2.zyxel.com/+ by http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/zyxel_fw4_zypkgs/ and hit Apply. Then refresh the list.

    Hey Mijzelf.
    I've just signed up to say thank you! Awesome that you've preserved the zypkg repo and saved me from buying a new NAS. Thanks a million!
    Actually, at least for NSA325v2 you don't even need the MetaRepo. Just enable \admin share and drop the entire content from "zyxel_fw4_zypkgs" to "\\*nas*\admin\zy-pgks\" folder.
    Reload the Packages page in the web UI; All packages will show up and you can just install them.
