ZyxelNAS 326 not showing in Windows Explorer

Hey there!

Since about 2 weeks or so my ZyxelNAS 326 has stopped showing in my Windows Explorer's network tab. Furthermore it doesn't show in my backup software (FreeFileSync) either which is my biggest issue. I haven't knowingly changed anything about my network's or NAS' configuration etc. during that time. I can access the NAS via my web browser by entering its static IP without any problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thx!

It's really strange that the NAS is not able to be seen on the Windows Explorer's.
Are you in the same subnet as your NAS located?

ZyxelNAS 326 don't support SMBv2

and

Your OS currently is not provided with SMBv1 support

then

It won't appear anymore…

According to Zyxel's support page the NAS326 supports SMBv2, so I assume there shouldn't be a problem with Windows 10? Correct me if I'm wrong!

and I did not found any "SMB v2" reference on any of them. I'd like to point out that both PDFs are dated August 2022.

Probably I did not look deep enough on the specific but personally I cannot confirm statement "NAS326 supports SMBv2" without any other Zyxel official assurance.

I read trough the article again, and it seems it works on Windows Explorer's network tab before.

It's hard to believe the SMB would suddenly stop the service on PC or on the NAS.
Do you install some software on your PC recently that might changed your laptop settings?
