Is there an API that allow to create and enable a Guest User to temporary access to a specific WiFi (SSID) … this enabled Guest User should be temporary (parametric value) enabled to whole Organization (so cross Sites) ?

Best if at the end of enabled period added Guest user will be automatically delete at all.

Thanks a lot in advance

    Hi @fgurrieri ,

As of now, the API does not support this configuration. Could you share with us the reason or scenario for which you need this API feature?

    Hi Judy,

    our scenario is:

    - our commercial, marketing and manager users often receive on our side external guys that usually needs wifi guest internet access
    - we want not enable guest registration via Facebook, Google and so on
    - but we need to provide externet guys temporary wifi guest internet access anyway

So what we are thinking to put in place is something like following:
    - when needed our internal user will send an email to a specific email address filling external guy's email address into email's subject
    - an our automatic procedure intercepts this email and:
    1) call Zyxel web API to create temporary guest user with a temporary wifi access token/credentials (that will expire for example in 4 or 8 hours) valid on whole organization' sites
    2) send an email to external guy with token/credentials to access our guest wifi

In this way we obtain a lean authorization process and can keep trace of all these kind of requests

    Regards
    Fabrizio

    Hi @fgurrieri ,

As of now, you can use the Nebula voucher feature to provide authentication for external users to access your organization's sites for a specified time period.

If you need an internal account to manage voucher configurations only, you can create a Guest Ambassador account. This article explains how to do that:

    Hope it helps!

    Hi Judy,
thanks a lot for your veru clear explanation but we are not an hotel so we have not a receptionist that can manage this kind of requests, we would like to completely automate the process and keep it monitored on the IT side.

As you know are there in roadmap web API that let us able to manage voucher creation by applications ?

    Thanks a lot in advance
    Best Regards

    Hi Judy,
    great solution !!

We tried following instructions you wrote us and we already developed an internal automatic procedure email based that it's able to generate and delete WiFi Guest external Users temporary access.

Thank you so much Judy !!
