Hi,

i'm experimenting issues testing NCAS (Nebula Cloud authentication) with captive portal on a NWA90AX access point. When i connect to the network, which is password protected using WPA3, the system correctly addresses me to the NCAS login page. I choose to register a new user, fill in all the required fields and when i press ok i receive a timeout error after a while. I attach my captive portal config and a shot of the error shown on a mobile phone. I've opened a service ticket to Zyxel support 20 days ago but they can't solve my issue until now and now they disappeared… (ticket #501972)

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Max

    Hi @maxpontello,

I did a quick local test with your configuration but I created the account with success. We will try to add our AP to your site to reproduce this issue. Also, could you help to check if your uplink router/firewall blocks https://ccapi.nebula.zyxel.com?

    Update:

Add AP to your site also created the account with success. In addition, I found your firmware version is not latest, could you also try upgrade to latest firmware version?

    Hi @maxpontello,

Could you help to enable Zyxel support access? So we can copy your configuration and reproduce it in our lab.

    Hello @Zyxel_Melen,

i've tried upgrading the APs to the latest firmware versions and magically everything now is working.
I've not upgraded before and kept last stable version because usually i prefer to avoid possibile bugs introduced by not stable versions. Is it correct that NCAS system works only with latest versions?

Anyway, thanks! Your support was really appreciated.
