I tried to use the reserve IP in the access list that generate a rule in setting lan
and i put some rule to in setting lan to force the devices to get a specific ip address

it works for a while but after a period non well understood the wsq60 cancel the rules and in the access list took off all the reserve ip
so i am back at the beggining

i would like to write the rule table for ever where is the mistake?

    Hi @fabrialare

Please send us the feedback on the Multy APP.
To reserve IP, you'll need to enable to "Reserve IP" function on the Multy app

What do you mean you try to generate a rule in the setting lan, could you describe more details about it?

I have done what you suggest
when you put that flag ( Reserve ip )
if you access the mutly plus with local login

you go at the option SETTING - LAN
you will find the cahnce to manage the range for pooling the DHCP
but also the rules for the STATIC DHCP TABLE
you will find a rule in that table is the rule you activated with the reserved IP

The problem is after a while ( could be one day or some hours  )
You will find the table empty anf the flag reserve ip switch back off
so you loose the rule and ip address will become free again not anymore static but dynamic

    thanks

    Hi
    i exported the log
    i have got 3 files
    1 for internet
    2 for connection
    3 for other
but how can i send it to you
i do not see any kind of attachment icon for a tar file

In any case i found out

    ACCESS CONTROL
if you unflag RESERVE IP in a device you will cancel the rule in
    SETTING   LAN STATIC DHCP TABLE

If you flag it you write a rule in that table

If you put dirctly a rule in STATIC DHCP TABLE and there is a device with the same mac address in
ACCESS CONTROL  the ip address you put in the STATIC DHCP TABLE is irrelevant
and you put the flag RESERVE IP on that device with the ip adddress you see in acccess control.
So in reality you can put the ip address you choose in the rule but you are getting what the device got from DYNAMIC DHCP because you are reserving that one

If you cancel the device in access control you will delete the STATIC DHCP TABLE not just your row but the entire table ( here i think is the mistake )

So to put the ip address you want for a device since the table will be canceled you have to turn off  the device, cancel the device row in ACCESS CONTROL go back to
    SETTING   LAN STATIC DHCP TABLE

insert all your rule turn on back  your device to have the right address
than go back to acccess control and reactivate all the RESERVE IP ADDDRESS for all thos devices you want a precise IP ADDRESS if you are lucky non one is changed

    well this is too much.

    Another thing
    Since i have got 4 WSQ60
1 Router 3 satellite ( or bridge or access point )
i would like to have with ip addresses

    XXX.YYY.ZZZ.1   Router
    XXX.YYY.ZZZ.2   SAT 1
    XXX.YYY.ZZZ.3   SAT 2
    XXX.YYY.ZZZ.4   SAT 3

well if you put these rules in SETTING   LAN STATIC DHCP TABLE
and you restart all the WSQ60s
they will the right ip adddress for a while but yor STATIC DHCP TABLE will be deleted again

So it is very hard to use the STATIC DHCP TABLE

In this case you havent the FLAG RESERVE IP so it won't last ( here it is the other mistake )
you do not see all the devices in acccess control, the others multy you see it in MY MULTY

the only sure thing you can do is to set the reserve ip in access control
but that just block the situation in what the DYNAMIC DHCP has set for you
or you have to make a big effort to select your IP ADDRESSes

For me the STATIC DHCP TABLE should prevail on acccess control

So help me where is my mistake ?
Let me know how can i send you the logs

    Fabrizio
