Hi, I have the above it has firmware 1.00(ABQY.2)C0 I would like to update to the latest firmware I unzip the file and put it in the router press update then all I get is image uploading failed, what am I doing wrong ?

Only put bin-file there and upload.

no just the same, I even factory reset then tried to update - no joy

The reason I want to update is because about once a week or so the router slows down the mbs I typically get around 130mbs but router slows to 50 or 60 until I reboot it then it’s back to normal.

Open link and scroll down to 7490.

Try upgrade from 2-4, 4-5 and so on.

Also check modem code file if you have the latest.
