Hi,

Help needed!

We have two APs set up in a space on different VLANs and SSID settings.

The clients using them have total or intermittent connection loss.

Checking the AP client lists, it seems the two SSIDs are connecting through both APs, although the specific VLAN is set on the port and the AP.

The APS are located close to each other, is this interference or something else?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Bootstrap ,

Checking the AP client lists, it seems the two SSIDs are connecting through both APs

From your description, we assume that there are the same SSID on your two APs. You can confirm that by going to Configuration > Wireless > AP Management.

And then click to Edit button at each SSID profile to view.

In case you confirm that the SSIDs are different between 2 APs, however, AP client lists show the clients connect to the same SSID, please share with us two AP's configuration files and client lists screenshots.

    Hi @Zyxel_Judy

We are using NCC. Please see the attached screenshots of the set up and client lists. Thank you.

It seems one SSID is having bad connection more than the other. We have also tried to moved the APs away from each other, think it's helped a little bit but still bad connection and trying both APs.

    Hi @Bootstrap ,

    Thank you for your feedback.

After reviewing your site settings, we couldn't find any configuration related to assigning tags to SSIDs or configuring APs to broadcast different SSIDs. To broadcast different SSIDs per AP, please follow the guide below.

Additionally, we've included some configuration tips that can help improve your Wi-Fi connection. Please review and try these suggestions.
