Hello,

I've a Zyxel FWA 710 that is configured in bridged mode, then a FritzBox 7590AX that's used to connect home devices, DECT and so on.

The issue I've is that every time I need to connect to the route I've to do something as

C:\Users\paolo>tracert www.google.com

Tracing route to www.google.com [216.58.204.228]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms fritz.box [192.168.1.1]
2 2 ms 1 ms <1 ms 151.59.109.176
3 * * * Request timed out.
4 22 ms 20 ms 23 ms 10.75.13.170
5 61 ms 16 ms 19 ms 151.7.80.14
6 52 ms 19 ms 19 ms milo-b02-miot-t02-ge1-1.wind.it [151.6.7.42]
7 34 ms 28 ms 18 ms 151.6.7.181
8 28 ms 31 ms 28 ms 74.125.32.80
9 57 ms 24 ms 30 ms 209.85.254.219
10 23 ms 19 ms 20 ms 192.178.82.63
11 48 ms 18 ms 19 ms par21s06-in-f228.1e100.net [216.58.204.228]

Then in this case get the 151.59.109.176 and connect to it.

Can I add a DNS header as fritz.box so I can just connect to it?

Thanks

Paolo

    Hi @advapiIT,

You can access FWA710 from internal when it is under bridge mode is normal behavior.

You can check the IP address of FWA710 on Nebula device detailed information page. If you want to set domain name for FWA710, you may use DDNS function for this requirement.

Additionally, to access the FWA710 in IP-passthrough mode, please reference this FAQ:

    Hope it helps.

Hello, I've checked your suggestion but in my case the FritzBox is set as main router on 192.168.1.100… I've already a DDNS but using it it give me the ip prior of 1 number, I need to ping the DDNS then add another number to that list to have the IP…

it's not possible in bridge mode to add a dns suffix?
