I notice my dashboard is hanging after adding usg flex 50h or flex 50 hp

    I must be honest, it's getting so frustrating how buggy it is with applying new configurations.

    i do an factory reset

    I choose for the local configuration, and applying an config file. I drop and drag my config file into the field. It's applying and rebooting, and after everything is done, my config is empy and factory reset.

    Please please try to solve this quickly

    Regarding your first issue about the dashboard hanging after adding the USG FLEX 50H or FLEX 50HP, to help us investigate further, could you please enable the Zyxel Support Access so we can help check NCC functionality. In this case, please also share your Org. and Site name via private message.

    For your second issue about applying a config file in local configuration, where the device reboots but the configuration appears empty and factory defaults, please provide any relevant log files or screenshots and the config file you tried to apply.

    Excuse, maybe to quick response. Yesterday for sure i had the issue, but now i retried it, with almost the same script, and now its working. What i saw yesterday, it looked, it came shortly online with my script, and then rebooted and changed to factory reset again. When i logged in afterwards, i saw the script was available in the firewall. (under firmware and files), and simply could apply it again. Now it worked as expected. I will keep an eye on it.

    If i experience the same again, i will come back to you. I will check something with the hanging dashboards. (something i still have)

    i removed the firewall from the organisation. Now my dashboard is like this:

    now i add the firewall again

    and directly:

    i can't imagine this isn't easily reproducable for you. It's not only with this firewall, but also with a firewall from a customer.

    so it's not organisation depended

    Is this with the Edge browser?

    do you have any extensions for your browser?

    i will try met other browsers, without extensions. good point to test

    yes it has something to it seems with the browser, but strange only with the usg flex 50h / hp series…

    We’ve tested this scenario with the same model (USG FLEX 50H), using Edge browser with an extension enabled, but we were unable to reproduce the issue.

    To help us narrow it down, may I confirm the following:

    • Does the problem occur only when using Edge, while it works normally with other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox?
    • What is the exact version of the Edge browser you are using?
    • Do you happen to know if the issue is related to the browser itself or to one of the extensions?
