FWA70 internet off and on line

I installed an FWA70 on remote site and I'm experiencing off line for 6-8 hours, than back on line for the same period. this happen for days after the installation. on the same site I runned a LTE7490-M904 for months without any problem. It is possible to enable any log to understand the problem source?

    Regarding your question, you may first check the device logs and cellular status through the local GUI:

    After logging in to the local GUI, please navigate to System Monitor > Log > System Log. You may also check signal metrics such as RSRP, RSRQ, and SINR from the Cellular Info page.

    *Please note that if the device is managed by Nebula, please use the username admin together with the Site Password found under: Site-wide > Configure > Site settings > Local credentials

    To better assist you and identify the root cause, please clarify what “offline” means in your case:

    • Do you mean that the FWA70 only appears offline in Nebula while the internet connection is still working, or does the device completely lose the mobile WAN connection?
    • During the offline period, are you still able to reach the device and access its local web GUI? Also, what is the LED status? You may refer to the table below. image.png
    • You mentioned that the LTE7490-M904 worked normally — does this mean you are using the same SIM card, and the issue only occurs on the FWA70?
    • Does the issue happen at specific times (e.g., daily or regularly), or is it random?

    *Please note that some ISPs may implement power-saving features that can temporarily disconnect devices from the mobile service, especially during nighttime hours.

    Furthermore, please provide:

    • What is the current firmware version of the FWA70?
    • What mobile carrier/ISP are you using?

    If the device is registered to Nebula, please also enable Zyxel Support Access and provide your organization/site name so we can review the device status directly.

    Hello Tina,

    I opened the case #260501015 from Nebula support request page and i enabled the zyxel support as administrator. about your questions:

    • the log records are enabled but not easy to understand the meaning. at this time the unit is not reachable and i cannot report cellular signals. usually the signal was about -70 db LTE-A
    • in few events (not more than 3) Nebula reports the device offiline while the internet access was operative.
    • the unit is installed in a remote island. nobody can look at the device or connect locally
    • about the LTE7940 it was operative on the same site and replaced by FWA70 with the same SIM card. never experienced problem. to try to solve the problem i forced the LTE connection and 5G is disabled.
    • the firmware level is the last available, mobile operator is ILIAD, 5G limited to 2Gb/s
