Congested Channel

Hello, I decided to purchase another AP because I had high Channel utilization, but now that I have 2 AP's I'm still getting 96 - 98% Channel utilization, also all my wireless endpoint are only channel 1. Can anyone share some things I could try to bring that utilization down to maybe 50%. Thank You.
