NAS 540 3TB unable to create volume

Seagate 3TB is visible in internal disks , but no volume can be created

    Maybe the file system of the HDD is incorrect? is it NTFS / EXT4 / FAT32?

    Did you go to Storage Manager > Internal Storage > Volume  create to create volume like the attached pic below?

    Yes i tried but without any luck, volume is not created

    HD was from other NAS drive

    after apply the volume is not saved

    You can try re-format the disk on other device.
    It should be applied in Linux file system format like EXT4.

    @skynet2001, You have what I had from another NAS. What you need to do is use third-party partition software to get rid of the partition first. Like GParted or something similar software. I have gone through wiping at least 2 hard drives in 2 weeks for my NAS326 (one from my old NAS and one from my old iMac)
