Is the NAS only not visible, or is it also not reachable. Does entering \\<nas-ip>\ in the address bar of explorer work?

"I haven't knowingly changed anything about my network's or NAS' configuration etc. during that time. I can access the NAS via my web browser by entering its static IP without any problem."

    So no, no new software.
And yes, I can access the NAS when entering its IP in FIrefox.
When I enter the IP in Windows Explorer, Firefox opens up with the NAS' page as well.

And when entering it using "\\<nas-ip>\" the NAS folder does open up in Windows explorer actually.
But it's still not showing in Windows Explorer's "Network" tab.

Is somehow the firewall status of your local network in Windows changed from private network to public network?

Hey, no, I checked that today in the early afternoon. It's still private.

  • I have the same issue. Just installed NAS326 on Windows 11. Can't see it anywhere on file explorer except as a Zyxel media device (which does not help), but can access it/set it up (and change settings) through the Zyxel Desktop. VLC (media player) on my tablet on the same network can access it.

    What am I doing wrong?
